GlobalTranz is a freight management and domestic air/expedited shipping company with 100s of national agents. Commercial Progression built a scalable cloud hosted microsite platform to support the online marketing and sales needs of their agent network.
CHALLENGE
Local logistics agents that sell Globaltranz logistics solutions often lack an online presence or the technical capacity to rapidly launch a well designed website. Globaltranz needed a scalable platform to build and deploy 100s of individual agent websites within their network.
SOLUTION
Commercial Progression built a scalable cloud hosted Drupal multisite platform to support a growing network of Globaltranz agents. With close to 500 individual agents and counting; Globaltranz needed a solution that provided the right balance between ease of use for agents, consistent overall branding, and customization per agent. The new on demand agent portal system was built with the flexibility of the Drupal content management system and hosted on a scalable cloud solution. A new agent microsite can be deployed on demand and then customized per instance. Integrated marketing and branding options can be configured at launch to fill out the basic microsite structure.
Globaltranz agents receive the benefit of a world-class SAAS web platform with a secure login for updates and customizations directly from the browser. Agents are free to update their microsite copy, graphics, and web address domain mapping per their company branding. This web service provides Globaltranz agents with an integrated marketing and lead generation tool that is an outstanding added value in the logistics industry.
