Alex Fisher
Alex Fisher has over 15 years experience in making technology work for businesses. He created his first web site in 1994, built a wearable computer in 1999, designed embedded video hardware in 2006, and architected the largest webcasts in the world using adaptive streaming technology in 2008.
Here are some interesting facts about Alex:
- He is a Consultant– He works full-time running Commercial Progression and working directly with clients to solve their problems.
- Was on the TODAY Show– Matt, Katie, and Al interviewed Alex on the TODAY show because of a wearable computer he built.
- Designed the world’s largest webcast– Working directly with Oprah he was the Solution Architect for a 500,000 simultaneous viewer event.
- Featured on the Front-page of the Detroit Free Press– His first business was a computer consulting company started at age 16 and was featured as the main story.
- Provided online promotions for Moby, David Bowie, and others– Alex was a partner in Studio Logic LLC which was hired to handle online promotions for Area:One, Area:Two, Sasha & Digweed, and Warped Tour.
- Alex is never bored– He’s been featured in The New York Times, has been interviewed by CNN, has traveled to over 15 countries, and lived in Spain for awhile.
- He also has a BSE in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn with a minor in Hispanic Studies.
