Quality Assurance

Basic

We apply updates to a staging environment and do a basic visual inspection to ensure no critical errors are triggered by the updates.


Advanced

We are willing to work with you at the beginning of the support period to devise a custom test plan and follow that plan every time updates are applied.


Critical issue

A catastrophic problem the client brings to our attention within the Drupal software for which no workaround exists AND:

  • that severely impacts the Client's production systems
  • because of which Client’s production systems are down or not functioning
  • is causing significant impact to portions of the Client’s business operations and productivity
  • the software is exposed to potential loss or interruption of service.


Non-critical issue

  • A problem that involves partial and/or non-critical loss of functionality, or that impairs some operations but allows the client’s operations to continue to function.
  • Problems for which there is limited or no loss of functionality or impact to the Client’s operation and for which is there is an easy workaround.


What’s not included

  • Major version upgrades for Drupal core modules (eg Drupal 6 -> Drupal 7)
  • Support for abandoned modules that are no longer maintained by the Drupal community
  • Bugfixes of issues triggered by Drupal core & contributed module updates/upgrades
  • Drupal updates that are found to cause issues during Q/A process will be reverted unless work hours are available to address issues caused
